Insurance & Billing Update
Soundview Behavioral Health is currently in-network (INN) with select insurance plans and actively credentialing with additional major payers.
Currently In-Network
We are currently in-network with:
Premera, LifeWise, First Choice Health Network, Kaiser, Regence
Please note: Not all providers are in-network with every plan. Coverage may vary depending on your specific provider and plan details.
In Process (Credentialing)
We are actively working to expand our in-network partnerships and are currently in the process of contracting with:
Aetna, Cigna / Evernorth, Moda, Molina Healthcare (Medicaid & Marketplace)
Credentialing timelines can vary by payer and are not always predictable, but we will continue to update this page as new contracts become active.
Out-of-Network (OON) Options
If your provider is not yet in-network with your insurance:
We can bill your insurance out-of-network (OON) if your plan includes OON benefits
You may be responsible for a portion of the cost depending on your deductible and reimbursement rate
We are happy to help you understand your benefits and expected costs before starting services
Important Notes
Associate-level providers (LMHCA, LMFTA, etc.) may be in-network with some payers but not all.
For example, LifeWise may not reimburse for associate-level providers.
Our team will work with you to match you with a provider that aligns with your insurance coverage whenever possible
Our Commitment
We understand that navigating insurance can be confusing. Soundview is committed to:
Transparency in billing and coverage
Helping you make informed decisions about your care
Expanding access by continuing to contract with major insurance providers
If you have questions about your insurance or would like help verifying your benefits, please contact us at Felicia@soundviewbh.com.

Soundview is currently in-network with select plans, including Premera / LifeWise and First Choice Health (FCHN). We are actively credentialing with additional major insurers, including Regence, Aetna, Cigna, Molina, and Moda.
Because credentialing is provider-specific, not all clinicians are in-network with every plan. It’s also helpful to ask whether services must be pre-authorized to be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement.
If you prefer, Soundview’s administrative team can help explain how out-of-network billing works and what questions to ask, but your insurance company is the best source for plan-specific answers
Your Out-of-Network Insurance Checklist
When you call your insurance company, ask:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
Do I have an out-of-network deductible, and how much is left?
What percentage does my plan pay for out-of-network services?
Are sessions applied to my deductible first?
Is pre-authorization required?
Will reimbursement be sent to me or to the provider?
-
If we are not in-network with your plan:
We can often bill your insurance out-of-network (OON)
You may be reimbursed depending on your plan’s benefits
You may be responsible for a portion of the cost (deductible, coinsurance)
We’re happy to help you understand your expected costs before starting.
-
We recommend contacting your insurance directly and asking:
Do I have out-of-network benefits?
What is my deductible?
What percentage do you reimburse for outpatient mental health?
We can also help guide you through this process.
-
We will always do our best to match you with your preferred provider. However, insurance coverage varies by provider, and in some cases, we may recommend a provider who is in-network with your plan.
-
Some insurance plans allow associate-level providers (LMHCA, LMFTA, etc.), while others may not.
For example, LifeWise may not reimburse for associate-level providers, which may impact scheduling options. -
We are actively working to expand our contracts with Regence, Aetna, Cigna, Molina, Moda, and others. Credentialing timelines vary by payer and can take several weeks to months.
We will update our website as new contracts become active.
